OUR FOCUS
Our focus in Family Ministry is threefold:
KIDS DISCIPLESHIP
PARENTS DISCIPLESHIP
FAMILY FOCUSED EVENTS
Our discipleship of children is intended to be supplemental to the discipleship children get at home from their parents.
Our Sunday School program is our main focus. We recruit, train, equip, and hold teachers accountable.
God’s plan is for parents to disciple their children to love and serve Jesus Christ (Deut. 6:4-9). We come alongside of parents to encourage and support them.
Our events are designed to encourage and connect families inside and outside our church. We plan a variety of activities that engage the entire family. These events are fun, inter-generational, and focused on connecting families to the church. We delight in working for stronger families who delight in God. See events HERE.
KIDS
As we assist parents in leading their children to treasure Christ most, our primary aim is to help kids live a Gospel-driven life where they do everything for the glory of God (1 Cor. 10:31). Here is what we believe that looks like:
FAMILIES
Our primary aim is to help families become Bible-saturated and Gospel-centered; families that are aware of sin and the holiness of God, looking to the person and work of Jesus Christ for salvation, and living a life of continual repentance and faith. Here is what we believe that looks like:
CHILD PROTECTION POLICY
We treasure children! They are a precious gift from God to us. Therefore, we want to do whatever we can to create a safe environment for them to thrive and grow in the Lord. We are committed to protecting our kids while serving them in appropriate and God-honoring ways. We have an extensive Child Protection Policy that complies with state law.
