Mom's House Run
Jerusalem Church members participated in the annual Mom's House Run and walk. The gifts that were raised help open the door to a brighter future for single parent families.
Children's Christmas Presentation
Many thanks to the Children of Jerusalem Church for their hard work in putting on the wonderful Christmas Story. Thank you to their families for braving the snow we had Saturday to get them here. We all learned a little more about the colors of Christmas and what they mean. Thanks also goes out to the adult helpers, Joyce Zeigler & Bob Southard, for their work with the children.
Annual
Jerusalem Church Picnic
Thanks for making the Jerusalem Church Picnic such a success. We had great
attendance and would like to thank all committee heads and helpers for their dedication and hard work. This picnic tradition has
taken place for over one hundred years and is a social event that many look forward
to very much. We hope to see you there next year!
Jerusalem Church Motorcycle Ride
On Saturday, July 25th at 8 a.m. we met to begin our adventure. There were 7 motorcycles and 10 riders at our first ride event. Our riders included church members and friends as we rode 337 miles to State College and around Raystown Lake. We dodged a few rain drops along the way but a good time was had by all. Thanks to church members Angie, Kevin, Greg, LeAnn & Ron for their support. The group agreed that we should do this again. Below are pictures of attending church members and a whole group picture. Also pictured was our stop for lunch at Prospectors just outside of State College.
Men's Group Project at the Grove
May's Project was to complete the renovation of the children's swings. Some of the pipes were welded, all of the swings were replaced and the chains that were in poor condition were also replaced. Bring your kids or your grandkids for some fun on the swings at the grove. All the new equipment was "kid" tested.
